Beautiful location, nice water experience. we traveled with ourselves-older couple, -and my daughter, son-in-law and their 13 year old. We were at the view rooms and it was quiet and scenic. My daughter's family was at the beach and not the same experience. Rooms minimum but perfectly comfortable. this positive is for the room for 2 on the view side
The beach room my daughter had was surounded by boisterous families and groups until late at night. Some staff a bit cold especially when I mentioned that my husband had a serious nose bleed. Other staff however were warmer when we initially checked in. Mini Market too expensive. Please note that the issue with the room was for the booking listed below. the statement for the positive was for the couple view room
The friendliness of the staff, the breakfast was fresh and hot with a very vlean dining room and the location was perfect. It was a great place for the Galilee experience and we felt safe and well rested. Thank you! We will bring our other children here!
The washing machines needed to be cleaned.
Great location on the shores of Galilee. Close to the famous fish restaurant as well
We chose Ein Gev Holiday Resort because we wanted to spend the weekend with cousins who live on Ein Gev Kibbutz. It was perfect for us as we walked to and from kibbutz. We didnt really use any of the facilities as we were out all day but the room was very comfortable, staff were hospitable, free wifi was great, the breakfast was amazing and we came on recommendation from others who had stayed before and we will certainly recommend it to anyone we know that is travelling.
Friendly, great food, good location, alittle expensive but I would go back
Beautiful setting on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. Nice facility. Good free Israeli style breakfast in a nice dining area.
Never could get the internet to work in the room.
Location on the sea of galillie.
It was too expensive for the type of hotel.
NIce staff at the reception. Very nice location on the lake, beach facilities. Opportunity to have dinner in the kibbutz with very good seafood and very nice staff in the restaurant.
It was very close to some fantastic mountain hikes in the Golan, Christian historical sites like Capernaum and the Mount of Beatitudes, plus it's right on the lake with the only section of sandy beach for kids to play on/swim in.
The cleaning staff were at our doorstep an hour before check-out and "helped" us pack our things for check-out! Not much for a "you're our guest" atmosphere!
Ein Gev was a wonderful experience for our family. We traveled throughout Israel and mostly stayed in multi-storied international hotels. This was an excellent change of pace, and the beach right next to our hotel was wonderful. Had a great dinner at the fish restaurant at Ein Gev kibbutz just a short distance away.
The nearby Bistro restaurant that is part of the Kibbutz - and the free shuttle service to take you there
The Butlins style experience. . .real shame that such a beautiful location but accomodation and general facilities are pretty run down and basic. Absolutely no cutlery or plates. . .anything you need to self cater has to be bought - crazy when you are there for 4 days and travelling around the country.
Had a large cabin that could sleep 6. The resort has a private beach on the Kinneret and was lovely.
The beach was wonderful - never a mad rush for chairs and umbrellas, always enough for everyone. The staff was very nice and accommodating - even preparing a pack-out breakfast for us with very short notice due to an early morning activity we had planned. The room was smallish, but comfortable. The amenities were very nice as well - laundry available for guest use, massage treatments - really nice for families and grown- ups needing a break.
Ein Gev is a great option for families - especially those who appreciate a good value. The location is great and the staff is very nice.
The newly renovated Kafriot room was perfect for our family with two young children. Nicely updated facilities/decor in the room. Great location and excellent and friendly staff. Decent breakfast.
Some of the construction details in the room were not finished, ie not sealing the hole around the gas line therefore creating a crawlspace for a visit from a little mouse.
friendly staff, clean accommodation, good breakfast and super air conditioning!
rooms a bit smaller than expected.
